A graduate of the University of Warsaw and Boras University in Sweden in the field of Digital Library Management. Head of the Scientific and Technical Information Section, Leader of the Open Science Competence Center and Plenipotentiary of the Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology for Open Science. Member of international working groups related to data management and open science, m.in. Data stewardship, curricula and career paths Task Force (EOSC), Education and Training on Handling of Research Data IG (co-chair), Engaging Researchers with Data IG, Professionalising Data Stewardship IG (RDA). Application reviewer for CoreTrustSeal trusted repositories. She conducts training for researchers and doctoral students as well as the subject of doctoral studies “Scientific databases and information skills”.

Vice-Chair of the Organizational Advisory Board at the Research Data Alliance (RDA). Coordinator in the RDA/EOSC task “Data practices in an interdisciplinary perspective – building good standards and universal solutions” and in “Activities to promote and increase awareness in the field of open research data” as part of the Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB) 1.4.b at the Gdańsk University of Technology. Participant of the “FAIRness Assessment Challenge”.

Participant and speaker of numerous national and international conferences. Head of the Gdańsk University of Technology team in the Horizon Europe Project, EOSC FIDELIS: Establishment of the European Network of Trusted Digital Repositories. Investigator in scientific and infrastructure projects (e.g. Positive management of technical universities: a new model of motivation of OPUS NCN; Multidisciplinary Open Knowledge Transfer System – Stage II: Open Research Data).

Her research interests focus on Open Science and Scientific Communication and Productivity.
