Research data management specialist with over two years of experience as a Scientific Integration & Data Officer at SIOS – Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (Norway). Since 2022, he has been a data steward at the University of Silesia in Katowice, where he conducts classes for students and doctoral students in the field of research data management, m.in. “Databases in scientific research” and “Best practices in data sharing”. Implementer of the CRIOS – Cryosphere Integrated Observatory Network on Svalbard (www.crios.pl) project, which aims to harmonize observations in the Arctic and share data in accordance with the FAIR principles.
Co-author of the publication: Alignment of Polar Data Policies – Recommended Principles, Report 2021 – The State of Environmental Science in Svalbard: SIOS Core Data (SCD).
Author of numerous trainings and online workshops in the field of data management, m.in.: Training #8: How to use and contribute to the Observation Facility Catalogue; A routine on how to correctly store and manage data – a SIOS lecture; Webinar “Research Data Management in Earth and Environmental Sciences” – prepared for the National Science Centre as part of the Open Science Team.
