Krzysztof Poterlowicz

Krzysztof Poterlowicz is Professor of Bioinformatics and Biomedical Data Science at the University of Bradford and ELIXIR-UK Training Coordinator. His work focuses on computational approaches, FAIR data management, reproducible workflows and responsible artificial intelligence in biomedical research. As Principal Investigator on the UKRI-funded ELIXIR-UK DaSH Fellowship, he supported culture change in research data management and FAIR data stewardship training across UK organisations. He is also involved in the UKRI Digital Research Skills Catalyst, contributing to practical training packages and resources for FAIR and AI-ready research. Through his work with ELIXIR, the Galaxy Training Network and European capacity-building activities, he supports sustainable data stewardship, workflow development and responsible use of data in biomedical and medical research.
