Head engineer in the Research Vessels and Infrastructure Section at the Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics, UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. Works with data collected in polar regions from diverse sources: land-based and underwater observatories, instruments deployed on sea ice and drifting platforms, as well as data gathered during scientific cruises. Regularly participates in research cruises and fieldwork, primarily in the European Arctic. Has experience across the entire “data lifecycle” – from planning, through physical deployment of infrastructure, to data flow management, processing, and publication. Represents UiT in the SIOS Data Management System Working Group and is a member of the core Data Management team for the Polhavet 2050 / Arctic Ocean 2050 programme. Co-author of publications on the development of innovative sensors and data acquisition methods (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3164-6838).
